🚀 Subscribe and Restore

Subscribe

  1. Open Expense Tracker: Koala and go to “Settings”
  2. Tap the user card at the top of the page (sign in with Apple first if you haven’t)
  3. Enter the membership page and choose an annual or monthly subscription
  4. Complete the payment following the App Store prompts

💡 Tip: Membership pricing is subject to what the App Store actually shows and charges; an annual subscription usually shows an equivalent “per month” amount.

Restore Purchases

After switching devices or reinstalling: enter the membership page and tap “Restore Purchases” in the top-right corner, then follow the prompts to restore your membership status (subject to the App Store subscription status).

Cancel Subscription

Subscriptions are managed by the App Store and can be canceled under your system “Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions”. After canceling, you can still use your membership benefits for the current paid period; it will not renew when it expires.

🔄 Membership Status

  • The membership validity period is subject to the App Store subscription status
  • If your benefits don’t take effect after “Restore Purchases”, make sure you are signed in with the same Apple account used for the purchase, and try again later

See the Membership Service Agreement for the detailed terms of the Membership Service.

🔧 FAQ

Q1: Why isn’t a membership offered as a one-time purchase?

A membership model supports long-term, sustainable maintenance: ongoing bug fixes, experience improvements, adaptation to OS updates and new devices, and long-term investment in capabilities such as sync, data safety, and performance.

Q2: What are the limitations for free users?

Free users can use features such as bookkeeping, cloud sync, quick entry, reimbursements, and refunds, but the total number of bills is limited to 300, and multiple ledgers, multi-currency, bill export, bill splitting, and scheduled accounting are not available.

Q3: Is my membership still valid after switching phones?

The subscription status is stored by the App Store. After switching devices or reinstalling, sign in with the Apple account you used for the purchase and tap “Restore Purchases” to restore it.
